I was there. Magnanamous show! So I remember asking my buddy if they had ever jammed it slow like this (I've been a pretty hardcore phan since 8th grade 1999, but my buddy is one of those people that downloads and listens to EVERY single show and is an encyclopedia of their works) and he said "No, never." I says to him I says, "Are you sure? I could have SWORE I heard some wook in the parking lot earlier blasting it in his stereo. I was in a hurry to get to the willcall window so I didn't stop to investigate, but I DISTINCTLY remember saying to myself 'Wow, is that a funk crawl Maze?..' Did they unleash this at Alpharetta..." My buddy said "No, it most certainly wasn't played at any of the other summer shows, I would for SURE have remembered THIS..." Then the guy in front of us turns around and says "You probably were hearing the sound check!" Lol!... I guess that must have been it, but I could have SWORE I heard it coming specifically out of a dude's car, and I can even picture dude in his seat singling along slowly "you'll never get oouuuttta this maaaaze.." How would that be possible? Do they livestream the soundchecks? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm just not very close to the pulse these days, raising kids and shit...
